The best time to visit
The best time to visit Abu Dhabi and Dubai is during the cooler months, from November to March. During this period, temperatures range between 70°F to 85°F (21°C to 29°C), making it ideal for exploring outdoor attractions like desert safaris, souks, and beach resorts. The evenings are pleasantly cool, perfect for dining al fresco or enjoying Dubai’s stunning skyline.
The peak tourist season falls between December and February, coinciding with events like the Dubai Shopping Festival and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. While this is a great time for activities and events, expect higher prices and larger crowds. If you prefer fewer tourists, consider visiting in November or March, when the weather is still comfortable but less busy.
If you are not a fan of "hot" temperatures, we would advise that you avoid traveling to this region between June and September, when temperatures can soar above 100°F (38°C) and the humidity is high. While indoor attractions like malls and aquariums are well-air-conditioned, the extreme heat can limit outdoor exploration. However, though the temps are high, this time of year can be ideal for budget travelers, as hotels and flights are often more affordable.
