Itinerary
Arrival
Welcome to Cancun!
Upon arrival at Cancun International Airport (CUN), you'll be picked up by an accessible van equipped with a ramp entrance. You'll be taken to the 5-star Iberostar Quetzal, where you are guaranteed accessible rooms equipped with a roll-in shower. The transfer is about 1 hour long.
On this day we will deliver a beach wheelchair for you to enjoy throughout your trip!
Day 2: Free morning + walking tour Playa del Carmen + Beach wheelchair
Morning:
Today, you'll have a free morning. Have a long, delicious breakfast, and enjoy the hotel amenities!
Afternoon:
You'll be picked up by an accessible van at 5 PM and spend the afternoon walking or wheeling through La Quinta Avenida in Playa del Carmen, the perfect place to shop for souvenirs and gifts while in Playa del Carmen!
This charming pedestrian street is just a few steps from the beach and offers a wide range of shops, cafes, and restaurants to explore. Sidewalks on La Quinta Avenida are wide and flat, with curb cuts at intersections to facilitate easy movement. Most shops have level access, and guides will be there to assist you if you need any help.
After the 4-hour shopping tour, you'll be returned to your hotel.
Day 3: Free day + Beach wheelchair + Xoximilco
Morning + afternoon:
Today, you'll have a free day! With a beach wheelchair included, you'll get the chance to enjoy the beach and hotel amenities!
Evening:
At 6:30 PM, you'll enjoy an immersive cultural experience: Xoximilco! Inspired by the traditional Mexican fiestas, it takes place aboard colorful "trajineras," a traditional Mexican boat that navigates through canals reminiscent of the famous Xochimilco in Mexico City.
After you arrive in an accessible van, you can enjoy live music, traditional food, and drinks while participating in lively games and dances, creating a festive atmosphere that celebrates Mexico's rich heritage and traditions.
You'll be returned to your hotel by midnight.
Day 4: Day of leisure w/ Beach wheelchair
Today you'll have a day of leisure, to spend as you wish! With access to a beach wheelchair included, you'll get the chance to enjoy the beach and hotel amenities!
Departure
On your last day, the beach wheelchair will be picked up from the resort, and you'll be transferred to the Cancun International Airport in the wheelchair-accessible van. The driver will be able to help with your luggage.
